I am very excited to announce the arrival of my daughter, Evelyn Rebecca. She was born on July 20th at 8:24pm, weighing in at 6lbs 3oz, 19.75 inches in length, a healthly full head of hair and some pretty big feet.
Both mother and baby are doing well. I am so excited to begin this new phase of my life.

- I develop internet applications, and have been since 1995. I'm over 30, over 6 ft (that’s 1.9m for you Metric folk) tall and I'm about 170lbs. (77 kilograms). I’m married to a wonderful woman; we have a beautiful daughter and son, 2 cats, 2 dogs, and some fish. I've lived in the Midwest of the USA my whole life, born in Minneapolis, MN, raised in Chicago, IL, back to Minneapolis, 90 days in Odessa, TX (temporary insanity on that move), then Urbana, IL (about 150 miles south of Chicago) and now, I'm back where I started, Chicago (or just outside of it, to be exact).

Let an old friend be the first to congratulate you and Heather on the birth of your daughter. (Anyway at least on your blog.) I guess now the real fun begins. Hope you guys are ready for those sleepless nights, now and in 16 years.
