Google has added a personal portal area to it's offerings. While Yahoo!, MSN and others have long had this functionality, in typical Google fashion, it is clean and well done.
In realted news a new site, Chicago crime database, is up. It offers free access to all of the cities reports crimes with Google Maps built-in. Very slick setup! This has already proven to be a great tool for me, as I am shopping for a house/condo.

I've lived in the Midwest of the USA my whole life, born in Minneapolis, MN, raised in Chicago, IL, back to Minneapolis, 90 days in Odessa, TX (temporary insanity on that move), then Urbana, IL (about 150 miles south of Chicago) and now, I'm back where I started, Chicago (or just outside of it, to be exact).
